Bumper size 10% larger bumpers
Flotation 15% increased flotation
Bumper structure 70% improved structural rigidity

Seasonal storage Easier to pack away and store
Existing MK2 protectors Can be upgraded with MK3 upgrade kits

10% larger bumpers

The MK3 features 10% larger bumpers, creating a more substantial floating border around the protector. These larger bumpers are a key part of the updated design, working alongside the improvements to flotation and structural rigidity.

15% more flotation

We have increased flotation of the bumpers by 15% compared with the MK2, giving the MK3 greater buoyancy. Together with the larger bumpers, this adds support to the floating structure while your Happy Hull is in the water.

70% improved bumper rigidity

The MK3 delivers 70% improved structural rigidity in the bumpers. This helps the bumpers hold their shape more effectively, creating a firmer structure around the protector.

A faster installation process

We have refined the installation process, making the MK3 faster to install than the MK2. Whether you are setting up a Happy Hull for the first time or returning it to your berth for another season, the updated design makes getting started easier.

Read our Happy Hull installation guide for guidance on setting up and using your protector.

Easier storage for seasonal users

For owners who remove their protector at the end of the boating season, the MK3 is easier to pack away and store. It is a practical improvement for anyone who uses a Happy Hull during the season and puts it away over winter.

The Happy Hull principle remains the same

Happy Hull is a flexible floating hull protector for a sheltered marina berth. It creates a barrier between your boat's hull and the surrounding water, helping prevent marine growth without applying antifouling paint to the hull.

The MK3 develops that idea further, with improvements focused on the protector's floating structure and ease of use.

A Happy Hull AutoPump Solar is included with every protector. The AutoPump PRO Mk2 remains an optional faster drainage upgrade.
