Happy Hull was founded, in 2020 during lockdown, by Rory and Lydia, who live by the ocean in Brighton, England with their children. Their own personal boat, an Axopar 28, had never had antifoul applied to the hull, and when they searched for a practical, safe, and effective solution, they found none. Unwilling to add toxic antifoul paint to the local waters, they set out to create a better alternative.

What began as a personal challenge became a mission: to develop an environmentally responsible, high-performance solution for hull protection. Happy Hull offers boat owners a way to keep hulls cleaner for longer, reduce maintenance, and preserve performance — all while protecting the marine environment.
